Cookie policy
Effective 24 August 2026 · Utility Mapping Group (UK) Limited · DrainCode uses an essential-only cookie model.
What this policy covers
This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used on draincode.co.uk. A cookie is a small value stored by a browser and returned to a service. Local storage stays in the browser unless application code reads it.
Strictly necessary technologies
- Supabase authentication: encrypted/session values used to complete sign-in, maintain the authorised session and refresh it. Duration is session-based or limited by the authentication configuration.
- Security and routing: short-lived values may be used by Vercel or Cloudflare to deliver, protect and diagnose the service.
- Cookie notice preference: records that the information notice was dismissed on that device.
- Operator preferences: local review position or display choices, where enabled, so work can resume safely.
These are required to provide a requested login, security or application function. Blocking them may prevent sign-in, uploads or saved preferences.
What we do not use
DrainCode does not currently use advertising, cross-site behavioural tracking or non-essential marketing cookies. Third-party analytics are disabled. If analytics or another non-essential technology is introduced, it must remain off until this policy and a compliant consent mechanism are updated.
Managing storage
You can inspect or delete site data in browser privacy settings. Deleting an authentication cookie signs you out. Clearing local storage removes device-only preferences but does not delete organisation records held in Supabase or Cloudflare R2.
Changes and contact
We record the effective date above and will update this page before materially changing browser technologies. Questions: info@u-map.co.uk.
